What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
BARROW LANE, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS TN3 0BN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow cabling and jointing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Barrow Lane, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 10th December 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
will be closed from the junction with A264 Langton Road for 450 metres southbound, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Barrow Lane, A264 Langton Road, Holmewood Ridge, Hither Chantlers, Barrow Lane and vice versa.
BEDGEBURY ROAD, GOUDHURST (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2079 Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, on or after 6th December 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Woodstcoks Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2079 Bedgebury Road, B2079 Lady Oak Lane, A21 London Road, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Lamberhurst By-Pass, A262 Horsmonden Road, Goudhurst Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Station Road, A262 Clay Hill, A262 West Road, B2079 Balcombes Hill, B2079 Bedgebury Road and vice versa.
CRYALS ROAD, MATFIELD, TN12 7HH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Cryals Road, Matfield, on or after 8th December 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with teh A21, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cryals Road, A21 Hastings Road, Beech Road, Cryals Road and vice versa.
DELMONDEN LANE, HAWKHURST, TN18 4XJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Delmonden Lane, Cranbrook, on or after 5th December 2023 for up to 3 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Delmonden Grange, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Delmonden Lane, A299 Horns Lane, A299 The Moor, A299 Moor Hill, A299 Highgate Hill, A268 High Street, Delmoden Lane and vice versa.
GREEN, LANE, CRANBROOK (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Green Lane, Cranbrook, on or after 6th December 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 240 metres south of the junction with Jacksons Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Green Lane, Goddards Green Road, Frogs Hole Lane, Halden Lane, Green Lane and vice versa.
JARVIS LANE, CRANBROOK, TN17 1DL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Jarvis Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 8th December 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions with B2084 Chequers Road and Mile Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Jarvis Lane, B2084 Chequers Road, A262 Cranbrook Road, Mile Lane, Jarvis Lane and vice versa.
NINEVEH LANE, CRANBROOK (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Nineveh Lane, Cranbrook, on or after 6th December 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for 120 metres west of the junction with Spring Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Nineveh Lane, Attwaters Lane, Water Lane, A229 Hawkhurst Road, B2086 Swattenden Lane, B2086 Cranbrook Road, Babbs Lane, Nineveh Lane and vice versa.
ROLVENDEN ROAD, BENENDEN, TN17 4BU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow electrical connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Rolvenden Road, Benenden, on or after 4th December 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Beacon Hall House,to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2068 Rolvenden Road, B2068 The Street, B2068 Benenden Road, B2068 Mounts Hill, B2068 Cranbrook Road, B2068 Swattenden Lane, A229 Hartley Road, A229 Angley Road, The Street, A262 Sissinhurst Road, A262 High Street, A262 Tenterden Road, A262 Biddenden Road, A28 Ashford Road, A28 Silver Hill, A28 Ashford Road, A28 High Street, A28 West Cross, A28 Rolvenden Road, A28 Rolvenden Hill, A28 Tenterden Road, B20268 Regent Street, B2086 Benenden Road, B2086 Rolvenden Road and vice versa.
SPONDEN LANE, SANDHURST, TN18 5HR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow overhead works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Sponden Lane, Sandhurst, on or after 6th December 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with A268 Megrims Hill for 915 metres northbound, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Sponden Lane, A268 Megrims Hill and vice versa.
STANDEN STREET, CRANBROOK, TN17 4HD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2023
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Standen Street, Cranbrook, on or after 6th December 2023 for up to 2 days between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 70 metres south of the junction with Mill Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Standen Street, Woodcock Lane, Dingleden, B2086 Rolvenden Road, B2086 The Street, Iden Green Road, Standen Street and vice versa.
