Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DOVER AREA
COOMBE VALLEY ROAD, DOVER CT17 0ES (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coombe Valley Road, Dover, on or after 5th December 2023 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Kingsford Court, between the hours of 22:30 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Barwick Road, St Radigunds Road, Bunkers Hill Road, Hillside Road, Crabble Avenue, Crabble Road, A256 Crabble Hill, A256 Buckland Avenue, Cherry Tree Avenue and A256 London Road.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via A256 London Road, A256 Crabble Hill, Crabble Road, Crabble Avenue, Hillside Road, Bunkers Hill Road, St Radigunds Road and Barwick Road.
COOMBE VALLEY ROAD, DOVER CT17 0HG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coombe Valley Road, Dover, on or after 6th December 2023 for up to 11 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Macdonald Road and Primrose Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Barwick Road, St Radigunds Road, Bunkers Hill Road, Hillside Road, Crabble Avenue, Crabble Road, A256 Crabble Hill, A256 Buckland Avenue, Cherry Tree Avenue and A256 London Road.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via A256 London Road, A256 Crabble Hill, Crabble Road, Crabble Avenue, Hillside Road, Bunkers Hill Road, St Radigunds Road and Barwick Road.
ELMSTONE, ASH CT3 2JS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Elmstone, Ash, on or after 4th December 2023 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Church Hill and Nash Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Church Hill, Hoaden Lane, Overland Lane, Nash Road and vice versa.
RICHBOROUGH ROAD, RICHBOROUGH CT13 9JQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow road works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Richborough Road, Richborough, on or after 4th December 2023 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Castle Road and Ash Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ash Road, A257 Ash Bypass, Cooper Street Drove and vice versa.
SAUNDERS LANE, ASH, CT3 2BX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Saunders Lane, Ash, on or after 4th December 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of New Street and Sandwich Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via New Street, Cherry Garden Lane, Sandwich Road and vice versa.
THE CLOSE, LYDDEN, CT15 7LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & PROHIBITION OF PARKING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow vegetation clearance to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic & parking on part of The Close, Lydden, on or after 4th December 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from number 1 to number 8, between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Parking on The Close will be prohibited from number 1 to number 8, between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.
THE STREET, ASH CT3 2BQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Ash, on or after 4th December 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from number 82 to number 90. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Guilton, Pedding Hill, A257 Ash Bypass, Sandwich Road and vice versa.
VICARAGE LANE, SANDWICH CT13 9ES (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vicarage Lane, Sandwich, on or after 6th December 2023 for up to 6 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Bowling Street and Church Street St Mary, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Bowling Street, Delf Street and Church Street St Mary.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Church Street St Mary, Strand Street and Bowling Street.
WELLINGTON ROAD, DEAL CT14 6EY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wellington Road, Deal, on or after 18th December 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 25. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The one-way Order will be suspended to allow access. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Blenheim Road, Gilford Road, A258 Victoria Road, Victoria Road, Sondes Road, A258 Beach Street and South Street.
