Du Cane Road - Prohibition Of Traffic For Water Supply Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(DU CANE ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate Water supply works in the above-named road; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit traffic in Du Cane Road and Nascott Street

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed the cycle lane from outside Pankhurst House to the junction of Wood Lane on Du Cane Road would be suspended.

3. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed: no person or vehicle shall enter, stop, wait, load or proceed in Nascott Street from the junction with Wood Lane to No. 2 Nascott Street.

4. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via Wood Lane, Glenroy Street and Eynham Road.

5. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

6. The Order will come into operation on the 9th December 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

7. Works will be expected to commence on Saturday 9th December 2023 and last until 10th December 2023. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
