HILL VIEW ROAD, TWICKENHAM

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 22 November 2023 made the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce an exemption to allow permit holders in certain exempted streets in an area bounded by St Margarerts Grove, Winchester Road, Moor Mead Road and the railway line to enter the road closure in Hill View Road, located near the junction of Cole Park Road, between 7.30am and 9.30am on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

3. Copies of the Order, which comes into operation on 27 November 2023, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 23/087, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 201*

WINDMILL ROAD, HAMPTON HILL

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in lengths of Windmill Road, and at its junctions with Angel Close, Brooklands Place, Sanders Place, St James's Avenue and Fitzwygram Close and reduce the lengths of restrictions in St Vincent's Row, and to introduce disabled persons' parking bays in the vicinity of No. 2 Windmill Road, approximately 7.3 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Close and approximately 6 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Wolsey Road.

3. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 23/203, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Egerton Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Egerton Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Egerton Road from the junction with Chertsey Road for a distance of approximately 36 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 06 December 2023. The works are anticipated to be in progress at night only between 20.00 to 06.00 on 06 December 2023 to 08 December 2023. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Chertsey Road, Meadway, A305, London Road, B361, and Heathfield Road North.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Friars Stiles Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Friars Stiles Road from outside Palmerstone Court to outside no.20 Friars Stiles Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 27 November 2023. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 19.00 to 23.00 on 27 November only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Richmond Hill, Queens Road, Sheen Road, and Church Road Or Paradise Road, Red Lion Street, Hill Street, Hill Rise and Richmond Hill and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Udney Park Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Udney Park Road between a point outside No. 87 Udney Park Road and a point opposite No. 30 Udney Park Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 01 December 2023. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 09.30am and 15.30pm on the 01 December 2023 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes..

ZONE B2 - WHITE HART LANE EXTENSION AND AMENDMENT

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 22 November 2022 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order is to:- Extend the existing B2 Zone to include Avenue Gardens, Grosvenor Avenue, Grosvenor Gardens, Leconfield Avenue, Sutherland Gardens and Westwood Gardens, the CPZ will operate between 10am and noon on Mondays to Fridays inclusive;

(a) to allow both ES and B2 permit holders to park in permit bays located on the south side of South Worple Way, in the vicinity of the Barnes Hospital Site, operating between 10am and Noon on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order is to introduce waiting restrictions in various lengths of the roads within the zone.

4. Within the zone, there will be designated permit holder only parking places where only vehicles which display a valid resident's permit, a valid business permit, a residents' visitor permit, a multi-zone business permit or an operational permit may park during the controlled hours.

5. Copies of the proposed Orders, a plan showing the location and effect of the Orders and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders: -

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 90C PROPOSED REMOVAL OF SPEED CUSHIONS AND PROVISION OF ROAD HUMPS WINDMILL ROAD, HAMPTON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to remove road humps known as speed cushions and provide sinusoidal road humps in Windmill Road, Hampton.

The speed cushions proposed to be removed are located in Windmill Road, Hampton: (i) adjacent to No. 1 Greenwood Lane; (ii) outside Nos. 19 and 19a Windmill Road; and (iii) outside Nos. 1 and 3 Windmill Road.

The proposed sinusoidal road humps will be located in Windmill Road, Hampton: (i) approximately 22 metres south-east of the southeastern kerb-line of St. James's Road; (ii) approximately 14 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Brooklands Place; and (iii) outside No. 3 Windmill Road. Each hump will be 3.7 metres in length, with a height of 75mm at its highest point and extending across the full width of the carriageway.

A drawing showing the proposed design will be available for public inspection, quoting reference 23/201, at: the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays.
