CANFORD CRESCENT, FLAGHEAD ROAD, CHADDESLEY GLEN - FIBRE INSTALLATION WORKS

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council Intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHERE & WHAT:

- Canford Crescent, Poole - road closed to all vehicles at its respective junctions with Haven Road - no parking, no waiting, no loading/unloading

DIVERSION: remainder of Canford Crescent onto Haven Road 

- Flaghead Road, Poole - road closed to all vehicles at its junction Haven Road - no parking, no waiting, no loading/unloading

DIVERSION: remainder of Flaghead Road, Cliff Drive back onto Haven Road

- Chaddesley Glen, Poole - road closed to all vehicles at its junction with Haven Road -no parking, no waiting, no loading/unloading

DIVERSION: remainder of Chaddesley Glen, Shore Road onto Haven Road

Please note that the road closures on Canford Crescent and diversion routes will not be in place at the same time. Residents will be informed by letter with details of the phased/rolling road closures by CityFibre.

WHEN: Anticipated dates from Tuesday 2 January 2024 up to and including Monday 29 January 2024.

WHY: For safety whilst installation of fibre duct cabling is undertaken by CCN/CityFibre in conjunction with two-way temporary signals on Haven Road and Chaddesley Pines.

ACCESS: Full Emergency Service access will be maintained.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
