Rusper/Faygate Lane Area - Temporary Closure Public Footpath
What is happening?

(Rusper: Public Footpath No. 1502)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along a length of Public Footpath No. 1502 Rusper, from its junction with Faygate Lane (TQ213368), south-eastwards to its junction with Lambs Farm Green Road (TQ218367), a distance of approximately 600 metres The Order is necessary to protect
public safety due to an unsafe bridle bridge. Unfortunately there are no alternative routes available using the Public Rights of Way network.
The Order will come into effect on 21 November 2023 and will last for 6 months. Any queries about the effect of the Order on people using the
Public Footpath should be directed to Rights of Way Team,
