What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

B994 – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (B994 Kintore to Kemnay – 27.11.23) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2023” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 27/11/23 until 07/12/23 and will prohibit any person from driving on the B994 Kintore to Kemnay road between Upper Cottown and the junction with the U103c.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during carriageway resurfacing works. An alternative route is available via the B993 to A96 Inverurie, A96 to Gauchhill Road, Kintore, Gauchhill Road to B994.
