What is happening?

ETON)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
DRIVING) ORDER 2023
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of the B3026 Eton Wick Road 20 metres either side of the Railway Bridge.
The diversion route for traffic affected by this Order is via the B3026 Eton Wick Road, B3026 Common Road, the B3026 Village Road, the B3026 Lake End Road, the A4 Bath Road, the A4 Wellington Street, the A332 Windsor Road, B3022 Slough Road & the B3026 Eton Wick Road.
The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely Railway Bridge inspection and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.
The Order shall be in operation from 21.00 hours on Monday 27 November until 05.00 hours on Tuesday 28 November 2023. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
