PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(C2065 Knightwick Road, Alfrick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of C2065 Knightwick Road from its junction with U62224 Upper House Road to its junction with C2245 Hopton Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2065 Lulsley to Knightwick Road, C2065 Lulsley, A44 Bromyard Road, A44 Darbys Green, A44 Broadwas, A44 Bromyard Road, A4103 Bransford, C2065 Brockamin to A4103 Bransford, C2065 Hopton Lane to Brockamin and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 29 November 2023.

(U51025 Church Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The Worcestershire County Council (Church Road and Vauxhall Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2017 (Temporary Suspension & Reversal) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U51025 Church Road from its junction with U51026 Vauxhall Street to its junction with B4550 Astwood Road and to temporary suspend The Worcestershire County Council (Church Road and Vauxhall Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2017 to allow for access only for residents on Church Road and the reversal of the One-Way on Vauxhall Street to enable an appropriate diversion route.

Reason: To renew a BT pole in verge side by HSC Worcester Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion for U51025 Church Road - U51026 Vauxhall Street, B4550 Astwood Road. Diversion for U51026 Vauxhall Street - U51024 Mayfield Road.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 19 December 2023.

(U50365 Green Lane, North Claines) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of U50365 Green Lane from its junction with U50366 Bevere Close to its junction with A449 Ombersley Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A449 Ombersley Road, U50372 Grange Avenue, U50367 Bevere Close South, U50366 Bevere Close and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days (24hrs) between 24 November 2023 and 12 December 2023.

(Link Footpath F50540/F50200 Calder Road to Williamson Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure)

Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: Link Footpath F50540 linking Link Footpath F50200 Calder

linking Road to Williamson Road for a distance of 12 metres in an Easterly direction. Closure 2: Link Footpath F50200 Calder Road to Williamson Road from its junction with Link Footpath F50540 linking Kink Footpath F50200 to its junction with Link Footpath F50201 Tamar Close (fronting nos. 2-20).

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52022 Ronkswood Crescent, U52020 Calder Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 30 days (24hrs). Commencing: 7 November 2023.

(U53003 Park Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (Park Street and Foundry Street (Part), Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1978 (Temporary Suspension (Part)) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U53003 Park Street from its junction with C2290 Wylds Lane to its junction with U53011 Little Park Street and to temporarily part suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Park Street and Foundry Street (Part), Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1978 to its junction with U53017 Carden Street to allow for two-way traffic flow for the duration of the works.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U53003 Park Street, U53003 Foundry Street, U53003 St Pauls Street, U53000 George Street,

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Various Waiting/Loading Restrictions (Proposals and Revocations) on Foregate Street, Worcester]

On 9 November 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to revoke: No Waiting At Any Time/No Loading Mon-Sat 7:30am-9:30am and 4:30pm-6:30pm on the following

lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: Foregate Street (East Side) from a point 25m south of its junction with Pierpoint Street for a distance of 49m in a southerly direction.

Worcester: Foregate Street (East Side)

Foregate Street (West Side) from a point 53m south of its junction with Pierpoint Street for a distance of 16m in a southerly direction.

No Waiting At Any Time/No Loading at any time Foregate Street (West Side) from a point 7m north of its junction with Pierpoint Street for a distance of 8m in a northerly direction.

Goods Vehicle Loading Only

Foregate Street (West Side) from a point 15m north of its junction with Pierpoint Street for a distance of 23m in a northerly direction.

New Restriction proposals: Goods Vehicle Loading Only

Foregate Street (West Side) from its junction with Pierpoint Street for a distance of 18m in a northerly direction.

No Waiting At Any Time

Foregate Street (West Side) from a point 18m north of its junction with Pierpoint Street for a distance of 7m in a northerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 7 December 2023.

Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Dugdale Drive, Worcester]

On 9 November 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:-

Dugdale Drive, North: From a point, 14 metres from Bright Avenue, for a distance of 26 metres, in a north-easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 7 December 2023.

(Footpath WR-628 (part) Worcester and HW-562 Hallow) (Temporary Closure Order) 2023

Order Made: To close Footpath WR-628 (part) Worcester and HW-562 Hallow for its entire length. The Order has been made due to footpath collapsing due to flooding.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no alternative route. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 24 November 2023.
