What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(ST JOHNS (SERVICE ROAD) ENDERBY) (DISTRICT OF BLABY) (ONE-WAY SYSTEM) ORDER 202

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2), 4 and 5, of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be: 
To introduce a One-Way System from the junction of St Johns Service Road and Trinity Road to the B114 St Johns for a distance of 25 metres and to introduce a No Entry System from the B4114 St Johns to the junction of St Johns Service Road and Trinity Road for a distance of 25 metres.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA, at the offices of Blaby District Council, Council Offices, Desford Road, Narborough, Leicester LE19 2EP and on the notice board of Enderby Parish Council.

Documents can also be viewed online at https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/ roads-and-travel/cars-and-parking/traffic-management-consultations Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 15th December 2023, quoting reference KJ/HTWMT/5620.
