What is happening?

PICKARD CLOSE N14 - CHANGE OF "MONDAY TO SATURDAY

9AM TO 6.30PM" WAITING RESTRICTIONS TO "AT ANY TIME",

AND RILEY ROAD EN3 -NEW 'AT ANY TIME' WAITING RESTRICTIONS.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) have made the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 241) Order 2023 under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Order will be:

(a) to revoke and replace the existing "Monday to Saturday 9am to 6.30pm" waiting restrictions in Pickard Close N14, between its junction with Chase Road and its western extremity, so much is public highway with new "at any time" waiting restrictions; and

(b) to extend the existing "at any time" waiting restrictions on the northern side of Riley Road from the junction with Hertford Road by 22.5 metres to cover the three vehicular accesses to the Surgery.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 27 November 2023 and any other relevant documents can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am - 5pm inclusive, or online at: https://new.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders/ until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

4. Copies of the notice, order and Statement of Reasons can also be obtained by emailing traffic@enfield.gov.uk or by writing to Head of Highways, Traffic and Parking (quoting reference TG52/1545) Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
