20 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ORDER 2023 (TROM_295)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make the above-named Order under Sections 81 to 84 and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order, if made, will be to introduce a 20 miles per hour speed restriction on the following lengths of highways in Alnwick in the County of Northumberland:-

Bondgate Without – At a point 60 metres south of its junction with Greenwell Road to its junction with Bondgate Within
Clayport Bank – At its junction with Lisburn Terrace to a point 37 metres south of its junction with Lisburn Terrace
Dispensary Street – At its junction with Lagny Street to a point 32 metres north of its junction with Lagny Street
Dispensary Street – At its junction with Windsor Gardens for its full length
Hope House Lane – At a point 52 metres west of its junction with Meadow Riggs to its junction with Prudhoe Street
Narrowgate – At its junction with Bondgate Within to a point 20 metres south of its junction with Bailiffgate
Prudhoe Street – At its junction with Percy Street to its junction with Wagonway Road
Willowburn Avenue – At its junction with St James Estate a point 24 metres south east of its junction with Greensfield Industrial Estate
Exemptions are included in the Order for police, fire and rescue, ambulance and special forces purposes.
