What is happening?

CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Hawkes Lane, Needingworth (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) and (TEMPORARY REVOCATION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ORDER) ORDER 2023-1341

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hawkes Lane, Needingworth as lies between number 2 and High Street. During the period this Order remains in force The County of Huntingdon and Peterborough (Hawkes Lane, Needingworth) (One-Way) Order 1966; Schedule - Length of Road in the Rural District of St Ives, Hawkes Lane, Needingworth, between its junction with High Street in a North-westerly direction is hereby suspended. The alternative route for vehicles is via Church Street - High Street and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 6 December 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 5 June 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 6 December and 8 December 2023.

Hollow Road, Ramsey Forty Foot (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1390

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hollow Road, Ramsey Forty Foot as lies between B1096 and Long Drove.

The alternative route for vehicles is via B1096 - Hollow Lane - Ramsey Hollow Drove - Long Drove and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate relay leaking supply pipe and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 04 December 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 June 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 December and 8 December 2023.

Buttsgrove Way, Huntingdon (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023-1340

NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after seven days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Buttsgrove Way, Huntingdon as lies between Coneygear Road and Mayfield Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via California Road - Sallowbush Road - Coneygear Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate patching repairs, speed hump installation and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 27 November 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 26 May 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 27 November to 28 November 2023.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders.

The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
