What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (WEST END, HAYNES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of West End, Haynes between London Lane and outside number 112 West End.
This temporary closure is required to enable ditch clearance works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 15 December 2023 between the hours of 9am and 3pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Wilstead Hill (A6). The Order will come into operation on 11 December 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (NEOTSBURY ROAD, AMPTHILL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Neotsbury Road, Ampthill between Duke Street and Oliver Street.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 15 December 2023 between the hours of 9am and 3pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Oliver Street, Queens Road, Dukes Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 11 December 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (BYE ROAD, LIDLINGTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bye Road, Lidlington outside number 10.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 13 December 2023 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Whitehall, High Street, Church Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 11 December 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (SALFORD ROAD, BROGBOROUGH, HULCOTE AND SALFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Salford Road, Brogborough and Hulcote and Salford between Omega House and A421 M1 Junction 13 Brogborough Roundabout.
This temporary closure is required to enable electrical works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 15 December 2023 between the hours of 8pm and 6am. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Broughton Road, Salford Road, Fen Street, Newport Road, A421 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 11 December 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (MARSTON ROAD, LIDLINGTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Marston Road, Lidlington for 20m either side of the level crossing.
This temporary closure is required to enable borehole and site survey works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 27 November to 8 December 2023 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via High Street, Bury Ware, A507, Sandhill Close, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 27 November 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of The Avenue, Flitwick.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway resurfacing works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 27 November to 8 December 2023 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (HIGH STREET, CLOPHILL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street, Clophill outside St Mary’s Lower School.
This temporary closure is required to enable footway and antiskid remedial works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 27 November to 1 December 2023. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Shefford Road, A507, A6, High Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 27 November 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (BEDFORD ROAD, SILSOE, BEDFORD ROAD, CLOPHILL, CLOPHILL ROAD, CLOPHILL, AMPTHILL TO MAULDEN BYPASS, AMPTHILL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the lengths of Bedford Road, Silsoe, Bedford Road, Clophill, Clophill Road, Clophill, Ampthill to Maulden Bypass, Ampthill for approximately 250 metres on each leg from the Clophill Roundabout.
This temporary closure is required to enable Clophill Roundabout improvement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 7 December 2023 until the works have been completed. The dates of the proposed works will be circulated nearer the time and advertised on site. The roads will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative routes for this closure are to be circulated nearer the time and advertised on site.
The Order will come into operation on 7 December 2023 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
