What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF DUDLEY

 (BRIERLEY HILL AREA) (VARIOUS ROADS) (20MPH ZONE) ORDER 2023. 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have made the above mentioned Order, the effect of which will be that certain lengths of the roads listed below will have new restrictions in place as stated: Road name and extent of proposed 20mph Zone Road Name Extent Talbot Street, Brierley Hill Full length Pearson Street, Brierley Hill Full length Albion Street, Brierley Hill Full length Moor Street, Brierley Hill From its junction with High Street westwards for 146 metres Cottage Street, Brierley Hill Full length Little Cottage Street, Brierley Hill Full length Mill Street, Brierley Hill From a point approximately 18 metres north-west of its junction with Venture Way north-west- wards for its entirety High Street, Brierley Hill From its junction with Bell Street South to its junction with Level Street Fenton Street, Brierley Hill From its junction with Moor Street in a north westerly direction for 12 metres The Order shall come into force on 27th November 2023. A copy of the Order, maps and statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at : https://www.dudley.gov.uk/residents/parking- and-roads/travel-and-transport/local-transport-policy/traffic-consultation/ and selecting ‘Traffic Consultation database’. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any of the provisions, on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that any requirement of that Act, or of any relevant regulation made there under has not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
