Parish of Yeovil Temporary Closure of Park Way and Kingston and Queensway Subway
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding along: Park Way - from 10 metres south-east of the junction with The Park for a distance of 125 metres; and Kingston and Queensway Subway - from the junction with Park Way, north-eastwards for a distance of 25 metres. A total distance of 150 metres. This Order will enable CMBO Construct Ltd to carry out works to dismantle and rebuild a wall on behalf of Stonewater.
The Order becomes effective on 7th December 2023 and will remain in force for six months. The works are expected to commence on 11th December 2023 and last until 31st January 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 53 days.
