Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cressing Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Cross Road to its junction with Longfield a distance of approximately 410m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th December 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2348953A - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Cressing Road, Braintree Road, Collingwood Road, Newland Street, Colchester Road, A12, London Road, High Street, Station Road, Coggeshall Road, Kelvedon Road, Grange Hill, Bridge Street, The Gravel, West Street, Market End, East Street, Colchester Road, A120, Cressing Road, Braintree Road, Mill Lane, Claud Ince Avenue, Jeffreys Road, Witham Road, Cressing Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Highfields Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Highfields Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Powers Hall End to its junction with Whiteways Court a distance of approximately 40m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th December 2023 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001262542 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Highfields Road, Spa Road, Powers Hall End and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(London Road, Black Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Black Notley in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Bakers Lane to its junction with Queenborough Lane a distance of approximately 1385m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th December 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2351756 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via London Road, King William Roundabout, Notley Cross, Garden Village Way, Garden Village Way Roundabout at Business Park, Garden Village Way Roundabout Cuckoo Way, Off Garden Village Way, London Road Roundabout, London Road Roundabout North and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Long Green, Cressing) (Temporary Introduction of a 30mph Speed Restriction)

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30MPH speed restriction in that length of Long Green, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 360m south east of its junction with Galleys Corner Roundabout for a distance of approximately 350m in a south easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 14th December 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010737642/1 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Park Drive, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Park Drive, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Challis Lane for a distance of approximately 55m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th December 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010746472 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Masefield Road, Challis Lane and vice versa (with access only into Park Drive, Goldingham Drive and Milton Avenue).

(Rifle Hill, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rifle Hill, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Notley Road to its junction with Hillside Gardens a distance of approximately 290m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th December 2023 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N7103DIS148006-9 - Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

An alternative route is available via Hillside Gardens, Notley Road and vice versa.

(Bocking End, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bocking End, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 50m north east of its junction with Rayne Road for a distance of approximately 135m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA18097715359 - Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

An alternative route is available via Courtauld Road, Coggeshall Road -Railway Street Junction, Railway Street, South Street, St Michaels Road, High Street, Pierrefitte Way, Rayne Road, Bocking End or Courtauld Road, Coggeshall Road and Rayne Road (with access only into Bocking End).

The Order will come into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Old Road, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Feering in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 260m north east of its junction with Little Tey Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03162848195/FH - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fire hydrant repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street/Ashes Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Polecat Road for a distance of approximately 1215m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2351652 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ulting Road, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Green Close for a distance of approximately 580m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2347841 - Essex County Council). The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
