(Remote Footway, Gibraltar Walk, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Remote Footway, Gibraltar Walk, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 6 metres from the High Street, southeast for approximately 31 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 29 November 2023 09:00 to 14:00 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the removal of a diseased tree is undertaken. Alternative route will be signed on site.

The Order will come into effect on 29 November 2023 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Lane, Ramsden Crays) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Ramsden Crays in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Staceys Mount to its end a distance of approximately 1175m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th December 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000013169 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while street lighting maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council. No alternative route is available.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Meadow Way, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Meadow Way, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Cavell Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a north-westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th December 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2351210 - Essex). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex.

An alternative route is available via Cavell Road, Greens Farm Lane, Thynne Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Castle Lane, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Castle Lane, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Elm Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th November 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA002WF3HVL6J - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance for spine cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Castle Road, Beech Road and vice versa. (with access only into Castle Lane).

The Order came into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Osbourne Road to its junction with Clickett Hill a distance of approximately 235m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 2 nights (21:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2354196 - Essex). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex.

An alternative route is available via Clay Hill Road, Timberlog Lane, Mopsies Roundabout, Broadmayne and vice versa (with access only into Church Road).

The Order came into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Grove Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Grove Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 25m south east of its junction with Tudor Close for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 1 night (19:00-23:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO62725534 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Alternative routes are available via: Clarence Road, Eastwood Road and vice versa, OR Eastwood Road, Websters Way, Bull Lane and vice versa (with access only into Grove Road, Trinity Road and The Chase).

The Order came into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mandeville Way, Langdon Hills) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mandeville Way, Langdon Hills in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 70m northwest, northeast and southeast of its junction with Florence Way for a distance of approximately 190m eastbound only. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2023 for 3 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003781 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underside of bridge inspection works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Mandeville Way, Staneway, Laindon Link Roundabout, Staneway, High Road, Florence Way, Mandeville Way and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 9th November 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon & City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) & (Temporary Introduction of a 30mph Speed Limit) (No.10) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon & City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon & City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

5. "The Essex County Council (Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only.

All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 9th November 2023, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
