What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wolverhampton City Council propose to make the following Order under Sections 1, 2,124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order is as follows: THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 9) ORDER 2023 

This Order will prohibit any vehicle to:

 i) stop at any time on any day on school entrance markings in parts of Bhylls Lane; 

(ii) wait between 8.00am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and to load and unload between 8.00am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday in parts of Bhylls Lane; 

(iii) wait at any time on any day in parts of Bhylls Lane; and (iv) wait in a disabled person’s parking place unless there is displayed on that vehicle in the relevant position a valid disabled person’s badge for no longer period than 30 minutes with no return within 1 hour between 8.00am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday in parts of Bhylls Lane; Provided that the vehicle immediately before or after the act of parking has been or is about to be driven or used by the person to whom the valid disabled person’s badge has been issued or as the case may be, used for the carrying of disabled person(s) as passengers(s).

 Existing Traffic Regulation Orders will be revoked to the extent necessary to facilitate the provisions of this Order. A copy of the Order, Statement of Reasons and Plans showing the parts of the roads affected by the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Main Reception, Civic Centre, St Peter’s Square, Wolverhampton or viewed online at http://wolverhampton.gov.uk/troperm, or by using the QRCode below, or by emailing commercial.property@wolverhampton.gov.uk. Any objection(s) to the proposed Order should be made in writing to the undersigned by Friday 8 December 2023 stating the ground(s) for the objection(s).
