What is happening?
PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (WILLIAM PRANCE ROAD/
BREST ROAD/ALPHA WAY/PINTAIL WAY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting
under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(as amended), have made an Order the effect of which is:
1. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in:
• William Prance Road - from the front
boundary of Hellermann Tyton to the
junction of Alpha Way
• Brest Road - from the front boundary of Clip ‘n
Climb to the front boundary of Adrenalin Leisure
• Alpha Way - no left hand turn into William
Prance Road
2. To suspend the bus lane on:
• Brest Road - travelling in a northerly
direction from the junction of Morlaix Drive
to the junction with Derriford Roundabout
• Pintail Way - at the junction of William
Prance Road
The prohibition of driving will be in operation on the days
and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs
are displayed.
The Order shall come into force on 3rd November 2023 and
shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months
It is anticipated that the resurfacing works will
commence on the 3rd November 2023 until
8th November 2023 19:00 - 06:00 only
