What is happening?

NOTICE OF MAKING
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CAIRNSMORE AVENUE AND TUDOR AVENUE, PRESTON, PRESTON CITY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 15 November 2023 Lancashire County Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
a) Cairnsmore Avenue, Preston, the north east side, from its junction with the centreline of Tudor Avenue for a distance of 31 metres in a north westerly direction;
b) Tudor Avenue, Preston, the east side, from its junction with the centreline of Brockholes Brow for a distance of 29 metres in a southerly direction;
c) Tudor Avenue, Preston, the north side, from its junction with the centreline of Cairnsmore Avenue for a distance of 11 metres in an easterly direction;
d) Tudor Avenue, Preston, the west side, from its junction with the centreline of Brockholes Brow for a distance of 46 metres in a southerly direction.

This Order will come into force on the 20 November 2023. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Preston City Council, PO Box 10, Town Hall, Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 2RL, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, PO Box 100, Preston PR1 0LD, and on Lancashire County Councils Website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx, quoting ref: LSG4/894. 15758/AFR. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
