TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

MANCHESTER ROAD - REMEMBERANCE PARADE -

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets will prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, or proceeding, the following temporary prohibition:

Location: Manchester Road between its junction with Seyssel Street and Stebondale Street;

Reason: For the remembrance service parade. The road closure will be led by the Metropolitan Police Service;

Period: Sunday 12th November 2023 from 10:30 hours to 11.30 hours;

Alternative Route: For vehicular traffic will be via Stebondale Street and Saunders ness Road.

WOOLMORE STREET -

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets made an order which will prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding, the following temporary prohibition:

Location: Woolmore Street from its junction with Oliphant Street to the dead end. (75m long x 2m wide);

Reason: To facilitate development works on block D. The works are to be carried out by Swan NU living;

Period: Monday 23rd October 2023 to Sunday 26th November 2023;

Alternative Route: There is no alternative route as this section of Woolmore Street has no through road.

MARSH WALL (WESTBOUND DIRECTIONAL ROAD CLOSURE) -

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets propose to make an order which will prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping or proceeding, the following temporary prohibition:

Location: Marsh Wall - Westbound directional road closure from its junction with East Ferry Road to 240 Marsh Wall;

Reason: For carriageway blockage works on the public highway. The works are to be carried out by JSM Group;

Period: Saturday 4th November 2023 to Sunday 5th November 2023;

Alternative Route: For vehicular traffic will be via Prestons Road, Aspen Way, Westferry Road and Marsh Wall.

WICK LANE -

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets propose to make an order which will prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, or proceeding, the following temporary prohibition:

Location:

Site A) Wick Lane, from the junction of Thomas Fyre Drive (starting under the bridge) heading northwest for approximately 58 metres.

Site B) Wick Lane, from the junction of Thomas Fyre Drive heading southeast to the dead end;

Reason: To facilitate secure storage for site staff and site vehicles. The works are being led by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets;

Period: Thursday 2nd November 2023 to Saturday 2nd November 2024;

Alternative Route: No diversion or alternative route as this section of Wick Lane has no through road.

COLUMBIA ROAD "DAY OF THE DEAD" ORDER 2023 -

THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS hereby give notice that on Saturday 28th October 2023, vehicular traffic will be prohibited from entering, stopping, or proceeding in Columbia Road between its junction with Gossett Street and its junction with Barnet Grove. The restrictions on vehicular traffic will allow the "Day of the Dead" event on Columbia Road to be held on the public highway. The alternative route for Vehicular traffic will be via Chambord Street, Virginia Road, Columbia Road (Westbound), Hackney Road (Southbound), Shoreditch High Street (Southbound), Bethnal Green Road (Eastbound), and Barnet Grove (Northbound). Access will be provided for Police, Fire and Ambulance vehicles in an emergency or access may also be provided with the permission of a police officer in uniform.
