What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE C284 ROAD FROM WORTLEY ROAD TO ALDERLEY (WOTTON-UNDER-EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C284 Road from Wortley Road to Alderley from its junction with Hill Mill Lane to outside the property known as the Thatched Cottage for a distance of approximately 100 metres. The reason for the closure is for Severn Trent to undertake repair works.
The road is expected to be closed from 4th December 2023 until 6th December 2023 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
