What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN HERTFORD HEATH) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Woodland Road, Hertford Heath from its junction with Postwood Road north westwards and northwards for a distance of approximately 119m.
An alternative route will be via Postwood Green, Priors Wood Road, B1197 London Road, Church Hill and Woodland Road.
2. that length of Woodland Road, Hertford Heath from a point 127m south east of its junction with B1197 London Road eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m.
An alternative route will be via Woodland Road, B1197 London Road, Church Hill and Woodland Road or via Woodland Road, B1197 London Road, Priors Wood Road and Woodland Road.
ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on that length of Priors Wood Road, Hertford Heath from its junction with B1197 London Road north eastwards to its junction with Postwood Green, a distance of approximately 115m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas main is proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 December 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MILTON ROAD, WARE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Milton Road, Ware from its junction with The Bourne north eastwards to its junction with Thundercourt, a distance of approximately 46m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via The Bourne, A1170 (Baldock Road/Wadesmill Road), Kingsway, Clifton Way and Milton Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 December 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF DELAMARE ROAD, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Delamare Road, Cheshunt from a point 70m north east of its junction with Lea Valley North north eastwards for a distance of approximately 60m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Delamare Road, Windmill Lane, B176 (Turners Hill/High Street), Cadmore Lane and Delamare Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 December 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN PARK LANE PARADISE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Park Lane Paradise, Cheshunt from its junction with Appleby Street north eastwards and northwards to its junction with Holy Cross Hill, a distance of approximately 1197m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Park Lane, Longfield Lane, Dig Dag Hill, Hammondstreet Road, Darnicle Hill, Newgate Street, Newgate Street Village, C54 (unnamed road), White Stubbs Lane, West End Road and Holy Cross Hill.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 December 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLD CHRISTMAS LANE, THUNDRIDGE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cold Christmas Lane, Thundridge from its junction with Thundridge Public Bridleway No.016 north eastwards and northwards to its junction with Thundridge Public Bridleway No.04, a distance of approximately 599m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Cold Christmas Lane, Cambridge Road, Ermine Street, A120 (Standon Hill/Kents Lane), High Street, Hadham Road, Bromley Lane, C15 (unnamed road), B1004 (High Street/Tower Hill), Kettle Green Lane and Cold Christmas Lane.
The Order is needed because tree cutting and utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 December 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN HERTFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Ashley Road, Hertford from its junction with Campfield Road north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Chelmsford Road, a distance of approximately 250m.
An alternative route will be via Campfield Road and Chelmsford Road.
2. that length of Campfield Road, Hertford from its junction with the A414 Hertingfordbury Road/ Willowmead roundabout north westwards and northwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Chelmsford Road, Hertford from its junction with Campfield Road north westwards to its junction with Ashley Road, a distance of approximately 250m.
An alternative route will be via Campfield Road and Ashley Road.
4. that length of Mount Road, Hertford from its junction with Chelmsford Road north westwards, south westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN WINDMILL LANE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Windmill Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with B176 Turners Hill north eastwards to its junction with Moxom Avenue, a distance of approximately 132m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B176 Turners Hill, Forest Road, Roundmoor Drive and Windmill Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN GOFFS OAK AND CHESHUNT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Crouch Lane, Goffs Oak from its junction with Newgatestreet Road north eastwards, northwards, eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Argent Way, a distance of approximately 1386m.
An alternative route will be via Newgatestreet Road, St James Road, Rags Lane and Crouch Lane.
2. that length of Barrow Lane/Beverley Gardens/Barrow Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with Dark Lane south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Halstead Hill, a distance of approximately 95m.
An alternative route will be via Dark Lane, B156 Goffs Lane and Halstead Hill.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON ALBURY GROVE ROAD, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of Albury Grove Road, Cheshunt from its junction with Rushleigh Avenue south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with B176 Turners Hill, a distance of approximately 218m (“the Road”).
ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on this length of Road will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because construction works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN JUNIPER CLOSE, TURNFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of road (“the lengths of Road”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Road whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Juniper Close, Turnford from its junction with Rowan Drive south eastwards and eastwards for a distance of approximately 121m.
An alternative route will be via Rowan Drive, Mulberry Close and Juniper Close.
2. that length of Juniper Close, Turnford from a point 63m south east of its junction with Rowan Drive south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles whilst the event takes place. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the event.
3. that length of Juniper Close, Turnford from a point 121m south east of its junction with 
Rowan Drive north eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 126m.
An alternative route will be via Juniper Close, Rowan Drive, Mulberry Close and Juniper Close.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the lengths of Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the lengths of Road.
