What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ORWELL ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Orwell Road for its entire length. The closure would commence at its junction with Severn Road and terminate and its junction with Terry Road.
The Order will come into effect from 08:00 hours on Friday 17th November 2023 and is required to enable water mains renewal works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 17:00 hours on Friday 8th December 2023
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works
(d) local vehicular access to Orwell Road
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS POITIERS ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Poitiers Road in both directions from its junction with Black Prince Avenue to its junction with Brisbane Close.
The Order will come into effect from 08:00 hours on Monday 20th November 2023 and is required to enable gas mains replacement works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 17:00 hours on Friday 2nd December 2023
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS EATON ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Eaton Road in both directions from a point approximately 30 metres in a Southern direction to its junction with Ringway Queens.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Friday 17th November 2023 and is required to enable drainage works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 23:59 hours on Wednesday 31st January 2024
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works
(d) local vehicular and bus access to Eaton Road
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
