C97 Elmfield Terrace - Temporary Road Closure

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C97 Elmfield Terrace Hampeth from its junction with the A1 heading northwards for a distance of 220 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th December 2023 until the 1st May 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 11th December 2023 until the 12th December 2023 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U3093, U3028 and the A1 . Enquiries should be made to Northumberland County Council’s Contact Centre 0345 600 6400 or at https://one.network (enter the road number and road name). – Ref:136269502.
The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to install a road crossing and lit signage in the carriageway.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
