(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3134 Byron Street Back Lane Amble from its point at the rear of house number 57 Wellwood Street heading south southwest for a distance of 40 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th December 2023 until the 23rd February 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 4th December 2023 until the 22nd December 2023 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 23rd February 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Wellwood Street, U3134 Byron Street Back Lane and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Clancy on behalf of Northern Power Grid to excavate for a new connection for service replacement.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
