A619 Worksop Road and Explore Way - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A619 WORKSOP ROAD AND
EXPLORE WAY, STEETLEY
WHEN: 4th December 2023 to 15th December 2023 (19:00 to 04:00)
WHERE: A619 Worksop Road and Explore Way, Steetley between its junction with Steetley Lane to the point adjacent with the railway bridge and on Explore Way for 100 metres in a northern direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6043 Worksop Road, High Street, Station Road, A60 Mansfield Road, A619 Chesterfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
