Sheffield Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SHEFFIELD ROAD, SHEEPBRIDGE
WHEN: 20th November 2023 to 1st December 2023 (21:00 to 07:00 each night excluding weekend)
WHERE: Sheffield Road, Sheepbridge between its junction with Holland Road for a distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate rail bridge maintenance works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6057 (from point of closure), B6052, Whittington Interchange, A61 Unstone - Dronfield Bypass, (off slip /on slip), Broombank Road, B6057 (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
