Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 09 November 2023:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 14th November 2023 made the following temporary traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Traffic Regulation Order 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (COTTINGHAM GROVE(PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1873)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Road:
Cottingham Grove, Bletchley – At its junction with Buckingham Road, Bletchley.
The above closure will come into effect on 20th November 2023 and is scheduled to be reopened 24th November 2023 (24 Hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Cottingham Grove and Buckingham Road.
to allow Anglian Water to carryout Construction of new 315mm diameter foul water rising main from a Pumping Station located in Selbourne Avenue to Buckingham Road.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the below traffic regulation Orders under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Traffic Regulation Order 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PERCHERON PLACE, DOWNS BARN) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1850)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Road:
Percheron Place, Downs Barn – From its junction with Downs Barn Boulevard for approximately 35 meters on both sides of Percheron Place.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Bayard Avenue, Martingale Place, Downs Barn Boulevard (and vice versa).
The above closure will come into effect on 27th November 2023 and is scheduled to be reopened 8th December 2023 (24 Hours).
in order to enable ESP Electricity Ltd to carry out installation of cabling and excavation works for EV Car Charging Point.
Traffic Regulation Order 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHILDS WAY, CAMPBELL PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1852)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Road:
Childs Way, Campbell Park (Westbound) – From its junction with South Overgate Roundabout to its junction with South Enmore Roundabout.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via the Childs Way, Marlborough Street, Chaffron Way, Brickhill Street (and vice versa).
The above closure will come into effect on 27th November 2023 and is scheduled to be reopened 28th November 2023 (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm each day).
to allow THREE to carry out installation of new telecoms pole and cab and testing with use of a crane.
Traffic Regulation Order 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MARLBOROUGH STREET H7 TO H8 (NORTHBOUND) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1894)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Road:
Marlborough Street H7 to H8 (Northbound) – From its junction with Standing Way to its junction with Chaffron Way.
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Standing Way, Saxon Street and Chaffron Way.
The above closure will take place on 30th November 2023 (09:30 – 16:30).
to facilitate Hutchinson 3G installing a telecoms pole and cabinet.
