U6054 BELSAY CLOSE FOOTWAY PEGSWOOD
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on the following sections of footway in Pegswood in the County of Northumberland.
U6054 Bamburgh Drive Footway for its entire length.
It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 24th November 2023 until the 1st December 2023 and that the footway will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 29th February 2024.
The alternative route for pedestrian traffic will be via the Bamburgh Drive.
U6054 Belsay Close Footway for its entire length.
It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 27th November 2023 until the 4th December 2023 and that the footway will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 29th February 2024.
The alternative route for pedestrian traffic will be via the Castle Way, C395, Pegswood Castle Morpeth Footpath 012 and vice-versa.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th November 2023 until the 29th February 2024.

The closure has been requested by Avonline Networks to excavate a narrow trench to install micro-duct and the subsequent installation of network in the footway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order
