What is happening?

Hysbysir Drwy Hyn
Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984: 
1.  Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 21ain Tachwedd  2023 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd i’r gwaith cael ei gwblhau rhwng 21ain Tachwedd 2023 a’r 23ain Tachwedd 2023.  
2.  Roedd angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu D.r Cymru i wneud gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol/heolydd ar gau. 
3.  Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Barry-Cathlea Road, Llangatwg, Sir Fynwy, ~330m o’r gyffordd gyda Heol Pool Hall am ~90m.  4.  Roedd yna lwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Heol Pool Hall, B4521, Heol y Parc Mawr, Heol Grysmwnt  ac i’r gwrthwyneb. 
5.  Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Barry-Cathlea Road, Llangatwg, Sir Fynwy, 2023. 
6.  Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Notice Is Hereby Given
That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 
1.  The Order came into operation on the 21st November 2023 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 21st November 2023 and 23rd November 2023. 
2.  The order was necessary for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure. 
3.  The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Barry-Cathlea Road, Llangattock Lingoed, Monmouthshire, ~330m from its junction with Pool Hall Road for ~90m. 
4.  A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- Pool Hall Road, B4521, Great Park Road, Grosmont Road and vice versa. 
5.  This order may be cited as the Barry-Cathlea Road, Llangattock Lingoed, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2023 
6.  By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
