ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(WINDHILL ROAD, WAKEFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 265) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for mast installation be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Windhill Road, Wakefield between Hebden Road and Gisburn Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Windhill Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Windhill Road, Hebden Road, Harewood Road, Gisburn Road, Windhill Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 24th November 2023 09.00 hours to 17.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(HALL CLIFFE ROAD, HORBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 266) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for new water supply connection be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Hall Cliffe Road, Horbury from the junction of Dovecote Lane to outside number 3 Hall Cliffe Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Hall Cliffe Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: From Dovecote Lane – Dovecote Lane, Northgate, Queen Street, High Street, Westfield Road, Horbury Road, Sowood Lane, Manor Road, Spa Road, Spring End Road, Hall Cliffe Road. From Hall Cliffe Road – Hall Cliffe Road, Spring End Road, Spa Road, Manor Road, Sowood Lane, Horbury Road, Westfield Road, High Street, New Road, New Street, Sunroyd Hill, Dovecote Lane.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 20th November 2023 to 22nd November 2023, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(BLACKER LANE, NETHERTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 267) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for gully cleansing be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Blacker Lane, Netherton from the junction of Denby Dale Road to the junction of Blacker Crescent. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Blacker Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Blacker Lane, B6117 Netherton Lane, B6117 Upper Lane, B6117 Stocksmoor Road, A637 Bar Lane, A636 Denby Dale Road, Blacker Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 20th November 2023 between 09.30 hours to 13.30 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(WAKEFIELD NUMBER 96 FOOTPATH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER (NO 268) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield by reason of works to allow for brickwork repairs on underbridge to be carried out on or near Wakefield number 96 Footpath, and the likelihood of danger arising to the public, has made an Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of public footpath. Alternative route for pedestrians: No diversion.
The order comes into operation on 21st November 2023 until 23rd November 2023.
(DONCASTER ROAD, CROFTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 272) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to safely offload RRV be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Doncaster Road, Crofton for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Doncaster Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 2nd December 2023 at 22.00 hours to 3rd December 2023 at 08.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(BACK LANE, WAKEFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 273) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to repair failed reinstatement to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Back Lane, Wakefield outside Clarks Brewery. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Back Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Parliament Street, Westgate, Westgate End, Westgate, Back Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st December 2023 09.30 hours to 15.30 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(BODMIN DRIVE, NORMANTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 274) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to provide a safe working area for engineers to access existing footway box be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Bodmin Drive, Normanton for approximately 25 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Bodmin Drive.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Falmouth Avenue, Redruth Drive, Bodmin Drive & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 4th December 2023 at 09.30 hours to 5th December 2023 at 15.30 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(LINGWELL NOOK LANE, WAKEFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 275) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for new water supply connection be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Lingwell Nook Lane, Wakefield. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Lingwell Nook Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Lingwell Nook Lane, Potovens Lane, Ridings Way, Ridings Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 5th December 2023 at 08.00 hours to 6th December 2023 at 16.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(WOODTHORPE LANE, WAKEFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 276) 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for new supply connection be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Woodthorpe Lane, Wakefield. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Woodthorpe Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Woodthorpe Lane, Barnsley Road, Chevet Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 5th December 2023 at 08.00 hours to 6th December 2023 at 19.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
