NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(REGENT STREET, KETTERING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Regent Street, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Regen Street, Kettering from outside number 64.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during sewer repair work.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to eight days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Rockingham Road, Eskdaill Street, Montagu Street, Bath Road and Nelson Street.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(NORTH STREET, RAUNDS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of North Street, Raunds as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of North Street, Raunds from the junction with Richards Street to the junction with Midland Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repair to surface water system.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 11th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 13 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Brick Kiln Road, London Road, Marshalls Road and High Street.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(BROOKS ROAD, RAUNDS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Brooks Road, Raunds as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brooks Road, Raunds from the slip road from Midland Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during trial holes.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to seven days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use the opposite way of the junction.

(WESTERN WAY, WELLINGBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Western Way, Wellingborough as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Western Way, Wellingborough from outside number 6.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during sewer repair work.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(STAMFORD ROAD, WELDON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stamford Road, Weldon as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stamford Road, Weldon from the junction with Kettering Road to midway of Stamford Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for resurfacing to newly constructed roundabout.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th December 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to seven days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use A43 (Bangrave Road) Stamford Road.

(CHANCERY LANE, THRAPSTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Chancery Lane, Thrapston as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Chancery Lane, Thrapston from the junction of Manor Close to the junction of The Bullring.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th November 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to nine days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use De Vere Road, Oundle Road and Huntingdon Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(KNOX ROAD, WELLINGBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Knox Road, Wellingborough as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Knox Road, Wellingborough – from the midpoint of Knox Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works to rectify a defect.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th November 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Park Road and Ranelagh Road.

(CLOPTON ROAD, THRAPSTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Clopton Road, Thrapston as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Clopton Road, Thrapston from the junction with Thurning Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during building of a new carriageway/verge joint box and lay approximately 15 metres of duct.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th November 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to five days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Thurning Road, Old Weston Road and Clopton Road.
