London Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Pothole Repair Works
What is happening?

(A329 LONDON ROAD, ASCOT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:
a) A329 London Road, Ascot from the junction with B3430 New Forest Ride and B3017 Swinley Road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via A329 London Road, A332 Kings Ride, A332 Swinley Road, A332 Bagshot Road, A3095 Bagshot Road, A3095 Church Road, A329 London Road, and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out pothole repairs in the carriageway. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 7th December 2023, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place overnight from 7th December 2023 until 8th December 2023 from 20:30 until 05:30. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
