1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing (“the Council”) on the 14th November 2023 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Bikehanger Order will be to provide for the installation of bikehangers in.
(a) BRAMLEY ROAD, W5, the north-west side, 46.0 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Northfield Avenue
(b) CAMBORNE AVENUE, West Ealing, the north-west side, 26.50 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Northfield Avenue.
(c) INGLIS ROAD, W5, the east side, outside Nos. 29 and 30 Inglis Road.
(d) MOUNT AVENUE, W5, the south side, near of Nos.1 to 25 Cecil Close.
(e) RANELAGH ROAD, W5, the south side, outside Nos. 66 and 68 Ranelagh Road
(f) ST KILDA ROAD, W13, the south-west side, outside No. 44 St Kilda Road.
(g) SUNNYSIDE ROAD, W5, the north side, outside No. 10 St Marys Road.
(h) TEMPLE ROAD, W5, the north-west side, 7.00 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Netherbury Road.
(i) WOODVILLE ROAD, W5, the north-west side, outside Nos. 7 and 9 Woodville Road.
Bikehangers are secure shelters for bicycles that are 2.6 metres long and 2 metres wide.
3. The general effect of the ‘Parking Places Amendment’ Orders will be to reduce in length certain parking places in the roads listed in paragraph 2 above of this notice to accommodate the introduction of bikehangars.
4. The Orders, which will come into operation on 16th November 2023, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 26th December 2023.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by the 26th December 2023.
