What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5427 CHURCH LANE, RICKINGHALL SUPERIOR

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5427 Church Lane, Rickinghall Superior from the junction with the B1113 for 400 metres eastbound to facilitate the installation of poles and track for fibre works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversionroute will be Church Lane,Potters Lane, Common Road, Mill Road South, the A143, the B1113 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2023 - 20/11/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U7329 HALL LANE ANO THURSTON END, HAWKEDON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads to facilitate pole replacements:

• the U7329 Hall Lane, Hawkedon from the junction with Thurston End to the access road to Thurston Hall

• the U7329 Thurston End, Hawkedon from the junction with Hall Lane for 500 metres southbound. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Thurston End,Fern Hill, Duffs Hill, the B1065, the B1066, Somerton Road, Lower Street, Road from Lower Street to Lower Green,Road from Lower Green to Hawkedon Road, Hawkedon Road, Plough Hill, Thurston Lane, Hall Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 13/11/2023from 10am -4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1423 SPENSER ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1423 Spenser Road, Ipswich from number 38 to Goldsmith Road to facilitate gas replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be:

1. Goldsmith Road, Byron Road, Macaulay Road and vice versa

2. Goldsmith Road and vice versa. Browning Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2023 - 15/12/2023but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5522 WELLINGTON ROAD AND DOVE LANE, EYE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5522 Wellington Road,Eye from the junction with Dove Lane for 80 metres north westbound and the U5522 Dove Lane, Eye from the Junction with Wellington Road for 73 metres southbound to facilitate the replacement of a water pipe. Other co-ordinatea works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Lambseth Street, Church Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2023 - 17/11/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C492 NORWICH ROAD, BARHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C492 Norwich Road, Barham outside Lower Farm Cottages to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access willbe open for fedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes wil be:

1. Norwich Road, Sandy Lane, Barham, Sandy Hill, Sandy Lane, Coddenham, the B1078, Main Road, Bells Cross Road, Barham Green, Church lane and vice versa

2.(HGV DiversionEastbound) Norwich Road, Sandy_ Lane, Barham, Sandy Hill, Sandy Lane,

Coddenham, the B1078, Main Road, Bells Cross Road, Barham Green, Church Lane and no vice versa

3.(HGV Diversion Westbound) Church Lane, Barham Green, Bells Cross Road, Main Road, the B1078, Rectory Road, Sandy Hill, Sandy Lane, Barham, Norwich Road and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2023 - 15/11/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C765 ABBEYGATE STREET, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C765 Abbeygate Street, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Skinner Street for 20 metres eastbound to facimate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Hatter Street, Churchgate Street, Whiting_ Street, Westgate Street, the A1302, Risbygate Street, St Andrews Street South, Woolhall Street,Cornhill withno vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on 14/11/2023 from 10am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE U1548 SCHOOLHALL LANE, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1548 Schoolhall Lane, Bury St Edmunds from no. 4 - no. 7 to facilitate the installation of a new electricity supply_Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Northgate Street, Cadney Lane, Cannon Street, Garland Street with no vice versa.

For the duration of this closure, there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the U1548 Schoolhall Lane, Bury St Edmunds to allow access and egress.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 13711/2023 - 17/11/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 4, EAST BERGHOLT

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 4, East Bergholt from 1200 metres north of East End Road for 20 metres north eastbound due to a damaged footbridge. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Footpath 4, East Bergholt, Footpath 5, East Bergholt, Footpath 43, East Bergholt, East End Road, Footpath 8, East Bergholt, Footpath 30, Capel St Mary,Footpath 32, Capel SrMary and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2023 - 01/04/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3126 BEACH ROAD EAST, FELIXSTOWE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3126 Beach Road East, Felixstowe from the junction with Berners Road for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a gas service disconnection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Undercliff Road East, Brook Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2023 -17/11/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A154 WALTON AVENUE, FELIXSTOWE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A154 Walton Avenue, Felixstowe from Felixstowe warehousing co ltd for 50 metres westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for fedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes wil be:

• Westbound: the A14 Northbound, the A14 Southbound, Trinity Avenue and no vice versa

• Eastbound: Trinity Avenue, the A14 Northbound, the A14 Southbound and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/11/2023 - 24/11/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
