Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
B245 LONDON ROAD, SEVENOAKS WEALD, TN15 0RS (PROHIBITION OF SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of street lighting replacement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B245 London Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 4th December 2023 for up to 1 night between 21.00hrs and 03.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from A225 Morleys Roundabout to outside Julians Cottage.
The alternative route is via A225 Weald Interchange, A21 Sevenoaks Bypass/Tonbridge Bypass, A26 Quarry Hill Road, B2260 Quarry Hill Parade/Railway Approach, A227 High Street, B245 London Road/Tonbridge Road/ London Road and vice versa.
BAYLEY’S HILL, SEVENOAKS WEALD, TN14 6NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bayley’s Hill, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 21st November 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hatchlands Farm.
The alternative route is via Bayley’s Hill, Bowzell Green, Bowzell Road, Long Barn Road, Church Road, Hubbards Hill, Gracious Lane, Gracious Lane Bridge, White House Road and vice versa.
BETHEL ROAD, SEVENOAKS, TN13 3UE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING& SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bethel Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 20th November 2023 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed. The One Way will be suspended to allow access.
The road will be closed outside number 34.
The alternative route is via Bethel Road, Cedar Terrace Road, Holly Bush Lane, Bayham Road, Quakers Hall Lane, Bethel Road. Quakers Hall Lane, St. Johns Hill/Dartford Road, Holly Bush Lane, Cedar Terrace Road and Bethal Road for the opposite direction.
BOSVILLE ROAD, SEVENOAKS, TN13 3HY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Network Rail works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bosville Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 4th December 2023 for up to 4 nights between 22.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the railway bridge.
The alternative route is via Bosville Road, Lambarde Road, A25 Bradbourne Vale Road, Bradbourne Road, Bradbourne Park Road and vice versa.
BRASTED LANE, KNOCKHOLT, TN14 7LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brasted Lane, Knockholt, on or after 5th December 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Main Road and Storm Stables.
The alternative route is via Brasted Lane, Main Road, Stoneings Lane and vice versa.
BUNKERS HILL ROAD, ASH, TN15 7EY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bunkers Hill Road, Ash, on or after 22nd November 2023 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Cattle Ridley Farm.
The alternative route is via Bunkers Hill Road, New Street Road, Rectory Road and vice versa.
COOPERS CORNER, IDE HILL, TN14 6LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of SES Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coopers Corner, Ide Hill, on or after 20th November 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Winkhurst Farmhouse.
The alternative route is via Coopers Corner, Ide Hill Road, B2027 Clinton Lane, Roodlands Lane, B2042 Green Lane and vice versa.
EYNSFORD ROAD (SLIP ROAD), FARNINGHAM, DA4 0BP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eynsford Road (slip road), Farningham, on or after 20th November 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 19 and 21.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
GRASSY LANE, SEVENOAKS, TN13 1PN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of drainage repair works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Grassy Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 6th December 2023 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Oak Lane.
The alternative route is via Oak Lane, Ashgrove Road, Burntwood Road, Grassy Lane and vice versa.
HIGH STREET, SEVENOAKS. TN13 9WP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow Sevenoaks Christmas Lights Switch On, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Various Roads, Sevenoaks on 24th November 2023.
A225 High Street - between A224 London Road and Pembroke Road from 17.00hrs to 21.30hrs
Dorset Street - whole length from 17.00hrs to 21.30hrs
Akehurst Lane - whole length from 16.30hrs to 21.30hrs
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pembroke Road, A224 London Road and vice versa.
HOSPITAL ROAD, SEVENOAKS, TN13 3PE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hospital Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 20th November 2023 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Sevenoaks Hospital.
The alternative route is via A25 Seal Road, A225 St Johns Hill, Hospital Road and vice versa.
PUDDLEDOCK LANE, WESTERHAM. TN16 1QA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Puddledock Lane, Westerham, on or after 7th December 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Mapleton Road and Keepers Cottage.
The alternative route is via Puddledock Lane, Toys Hill, B2042 Ide Hill Road, B269 Pootings Road, Mapleton Road and vice versa.
SCHOOL LANE, SEAL, TN15 0BQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School Lane, Seal, on or after 7th December 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 1 School Cottage.
The alternative route is via School Lane, Childsbridge Lane, Pilgrims Way, Pilgrims Way East, A225 Station Road/Sevenoaks Road/Otford Road, A25 Seal Road/High Street and vice versa.
SOLEFIELDS ROAD, SEVENOAKS, TN13 1QR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Solefields Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 21st November 2023 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 14.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed opposite “Little Foxes”.
The alternative route is via Solefields Road, A225 Tonbridge Road, Weald Road, Ashgrove Road and vice versa.
