What is happening?

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICES

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247 WHITLOCK DRIVE

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highway described in the First Schedule.

IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping-up will be authorised to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Wandsworth on 22 April 2021 under local planning authority reference 2020/5124.

COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE between 09:00 and 17:00 during a period of 28 days commencing on Thursday 9 November 2023 at Wandsworth Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU.

Copies of the draft order and stopping up plan are also available to view at Southfield Library, 300 Wimbledon Park Road, London, SW19 6NL during the library's opening hours.

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed Order by writing to the Director of Environment and Community Services, London Borough of Wandsworth, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, SW18 2PU quoting reference 2020/5124. Any objection must be received by 7 December 2023. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

THE FIRST SCHEDULE

Areas of Highway to be Stopped Up

A. The area of Whitlock Drive marked "A" and hatched in black on the attached plan, consisting of an area of 4.27m2 running from a point north to south on the western side of Whitlock Drive for 5.9m, and from a point east of west of 0.72m.

B. The area of Whitlock Drive marked "B" and coloured black on the attached plan, consisting of an area of 0.74m2 running from a point on the western side of Whitlock Drive north to south for 0.35m and from a point east to west of 4.2m.

C. The area of Whitlock Drive marked "C" on the attached plan and coloured black, consisting of an area of 0.96m2 running from a point on the western side of Whitlock Drive north to south for 0.3m ad east to west for 6.4m.

The development

Demolition of existing garages and erection of three-storey (plus basement) residential building comprising 1 x 1-bed, 6 x 2-bed and 2 x 3-bed flats with associated landscaping, underground parking, refuse and cycle storage.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION - BENDON VALLEY SW18

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Bendon Valley to facilitate UK Power Networks utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, temporary waiting restrictions will be introduced on Bendon Valley from outside and opposite lamp column 7 to outside and opposite lamp column 8. The footway will also be closed at the same locations. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 25 November 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 13 December 2023.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE - DAWNAY ROAD SW18

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Dawnay Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Dawnay Road outside numbers 10-18. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 22 November 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 24 November 2023.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Dutch Yard to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Dutch Yard from the junction of Wandsworth High Street to the junction of Hardwicks Square. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 20 November 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 22 November 2023.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE - PRINCE OF WALES DRIVE SW8

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Prince of Wales Drive to facilitate Last Mile Electricity utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the eastbound cycle lane will be closed along Prince of Wales Drive from the railway bridge to outside Huntington House. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 25 November 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 26 November 2023.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE - SOUTHOLM STREET SW11

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Southolm Street to facilitate Network Rail utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Southolm Street from outside number 15 to the end of Cul-de-Sac. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 16 November 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 17 November 2023.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Wexford Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Wexford Road from outside number 163 to the junction of Nightingale Lane. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 18 November 2023 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 18 November 2023.
