Bishops Avenue, Temporary Waiting & Loading Restrictions

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS THE BISHOPS AVENUE AND CANONS CLOSE N2

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate the demolition of existing residential building and the construction of new residential building, they intend to make an Order which will:

(a) temporarily introduce a length of waiting and loading restrictions operating 'At any time' on the east side of The Bishops Avenue N2, from a point 77 metres north of the northern kerbline of Canon Close and a point 31 metres south of the southern kerbline of Canons Close, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily introduce a length of waiting and loading restrictions operating 'At any time' on the west side of The Bishops Avenue N2, from a point 77 metres north of the northern kerbline of Canon Close and a point 31 metres south of the southern kerbline of Canons Close, while the works take place.

(c) temporarily introduce lengths of waiting and loading restrictions operating 'At any time' on the north side of Canons Close N2, from a point in line with the eastern kerbline of The Bishops Avenue and a point 27 metres east of the eastern kerbline of The Bishops Avenue, while the works take place.

(d) temporarily introduce lengths of waiting and loading restrictions operating 'At any time' on the south side of Canons Close N2, from a point in line with the eastern kerbline of The Bishops Avenue and a point 27 metres east of the eastern kerbline of The Bishops Avenue, while the works take place.

The Order will commence at 8.00am on Thursday 16th November 2023 and is expected to last for 6 months.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Civil Enforcement Officer or Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
