Electric Avenue - Road Closure to Enable Utility Works to Be Carried Out

What is happening?

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(7181295 ELECTRIC AVENUE, ASTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along ELECTRIC AVENUE, from its junction with Deykin Avenue for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction.
The Temporary Order is required to enable utility works to be carried out in safety in the carriageway of the above road.
The proposed prohibition and restriction shall apply only during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 27th November 2023 and will remain in force for a period of TWO MONTHS or until the works are complete, whichever is the sooner.
