Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury Vale area - Temporary road restrictions and footpath closures.
What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Cambridge Place, Aylesbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Through
Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from
proceeding, except for access, in Cambridge Place for approx 36M. The
closure is required whilst allowing safe deliveries of heavy materials and
plant during construction commences on 23rd Nov 2023. The proposed
Order will come into operation on 23rd Nov 2023, as signed, with
maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
Public Footpath Nos.24 and 25, Buckingham (Temporary Footpath
Closure) Order 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding,
except for access, in that length of Public Footpaths No.24, from the
junction of Bourton Road to a point approximately 580M east north east,
and Public Footpath No.25, from the junction of Bourton Road to a point
approximately 450M north east. The closure is required whilst the
construction of a Solar Panel Farm takes place. The alternative route whilst
the closure is effective is via existing Highway and Public Bridleway
No.26, and Public Footpath No.27, Buckingham. The Order will come
into operation on 13 November 2023, as signed, with a maximum
duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever
is the soonest.
