East Road - Road Closure to Carriageway Resurfacing Work and Various Highway Maintenance Works

What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

EAST ROAD, WYMESWOLD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has
made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The
Order will come into force on 20/11/2023 and have a maximum duration
of 6 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works
will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for
up to 21 days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public
safety to allow Dandara Homes to undertake Section 278 carriageway
resurfacing work and various highway maintenance works.
The proposed diversion route will be via: East Road (A6006), Wild Lane
(A6006) Wymeswold, Paddys Lane, Six Hills Lane Broughton and Dalby
(B676) Melton Road (B676), Loughborough Road (B676) Burton On The
Wolds, Prestwold Lane (B676), Loughborough Road (B676) Barrow Road
Prestwold (B676), Loughborough Road Cotes (A60), Loughborough Road
(A60), Rempton Road (A60) Hoton, Loughborough Road Main Street
(A6006), Wymswold Road (A6006) Remspton, Remspton Road (A6006),
Far Street (A6006) East Road (A6006) Wymeswold and vice versa. During
the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed
at https://one.network.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
To be closed from house no 19 east road due east up to the access for
Footpath H66 grid ref: 461030 323706.
