Loughborough Road - Imposition of 40mph and 50mph Speed Limit Order

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(QUORN/MOUNTSORREL BYPASS, LOUGHBOROUGH ROAD, ROTHLEY
IN THE PARISHES OF ROTHLEY AND WANLIP)
(BOROUGH OF CHARNWOOD) (IMPOSITION OF 40MPH AND
50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has
made an Order under Sections 5 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 and in compliance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1991
and the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be:-
To impose a 40 mph Speed Limit on parts of Loughborough Road, Rothley
To impose a 50 mph Speed Limit on parts of A6 Quorn Mountsorrel Bypass
The Order will come into force on the twentieth day of November 2023.
A copy of the Order and the relevant map is available for public inspection
at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision
contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred
by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any
requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been
complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from
the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
