What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES WESTBOURNE GROVE Westbound directional road closure
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.
Westbourne Grove to be closed Westbound from the junction of Ledbury Road to the junction of Lambton Place.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 20th November 2023 until 18.00hrs on Friday 8th December 2023, or until the works are completed.
Diverted through traffic may use Westbourne Grove, Chepstow Road, Westbourne Park Road, Ladbroke Grove, Ladbroke Gardens, Westbourne Grove.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
