Lower Swell - Temporary Road Closure For Transfer Underground Plant

Temporary Closure of Lower Swell
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Lower Swell - from the junction with Islemoor Road, north-eastwards for a total distance of 76 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to transfer underground plant.
The Order becomes effective on 16th November 2023 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 24th November 2023 and last until 24th November 2023 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 10 hours.
