Macfarlane Road - Prohibition Of Traffic For Frame & Cover Repair Works
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(MACFARLANE ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate frame and cover repair works on Wood Lane; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic in a section of Marfarlane Road and Wood Lane.
2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed:
(a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, stop, wait, load or proceed in Macfarlane Road, between its junction with Wood Lane to the junction with Hopgood Street;
(b) the northbound cycle lanes in Wood Lane outside Nos. 7 to 9 Wood Lane would be suspended.
3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be via Hopgood Street, Uxbridge Road, and Wood Lane.
4. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
5. The Order will come into operation on the 22nd November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
6. Works will be expected to commence on Wednesday 22nd November 2023 and last until the 23rd November 2023. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
