What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(BROOMHOUSE ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate sewer cleaning on Broomhouse Road; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic in a section of Broomhouse Road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, stop, wait, load or proceed in Broomhouse Road between the junction of Hurlingham Road and the junction of New Kings Road.

3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided for via New Kings Road and Linver Road.

4. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. The Order will come into operation on the 22nd November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

6. Works will be expected to commence on Wednesday 22nd November 2023 and lasts for one day. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
