Red Lion Street / Paternoster Row / North Street - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (RED LION STREET/PATERNOSTER ROW/NORTH STREET)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on North Street which will be closed its entire length, Red Lion Street which will be closed its entire length and Paternoster Row which will be closed its entire length. In addition, there will be suspension of one way traffic on Red Lion Street and Paternoster Row and parking bays will be suspended on Red Lion Street and Paternoster Row to enable adequate carriageway width for two way traffic flow for access and egress to frontages. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 10 November 2023 only. The Order is required to facilitate an event at The Halls, Wolverhampton.
