U9711 OGLE DRIVE U9510 INGRAM DRIVE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in Blyth in the County of Northumberland.
● U9511 Ogle Drive from its junction with the U9517 Norham Close Footway heading west for a distance of 360 metres.
● U9510 Ingram Drive from its junction with the U9711 Southend Avenue to Ogle Drive heading west for a distance of 52 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th November 2023 until the 20th May 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th November 2023 until the 15th November 2023 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Southend Avenue, Newsham Road, Renwick Road, Albion Way and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout carriageway resurfacing.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
